Written originally with my wife Teena for our daughter when she had hit a wall professionally, and was left directionless and discouraged. While singing the vocal, I found meaning in the lyric as it applied to where I was in a major transition I was facing recently. So you could say I was preaching to myself when I sang, "...and when you fail/and you will/then you'll get it/you gotta be bold/go on now/just begin it."
